Bihar Flood Relief Operation by Arya
Samaj.
Flood in Kosi
River in Bihar killed many innocent peoples and left lakhs of
peoples homeless, foodless and hopeless.
Arya Veer Dal recognized its mission of Seva out of its three
main objectives Sanskiriti, Shakti & Seva. Young hearts of this
youth wing beating to do something for the people in need and
therefore decided to go to Bihar to establish flood relief camp
initially.
1st team of 8 members including four specialized
rescue & relief men namely Sh. Vijender Arya, Sanjeev Arya,
Dinesh Arya & Ramprakash Arya left for Purniya, Bihar from Arya
Samaj Hanuman Raod on 14th September with medicines
and necessary foods loaded in 2 Ambulance.
This is a great networking of Arya Samajs in Delhi and right
leader ship of Delhi Arya Pratinidhi Sabha who gathered 7 trucks
of relief material with the great help of Thakur Dwara Trust,
Jorbagh, including Medicines, water, clothes, Blanket, Cookery &
other life essential amenities worth of Rs. 50 Lacs.
These 7 trucks of relief material also left for Purniya, Bihar
on 15th September, in the presence of Sh. L. K.
Adwani, Sh. Harshwardhan, Sh. Bhurelal, Sh. Viresh Pratap
Choudhary, Sh. Dharampal Arya and Sh. Johar Ji. As its known
that reaching the relief material up to the right and needy
hands is very essential therefore a team of 10 Aryaveers formed
to send along with these 5 trucks of relief materials for the
safe transpiration and distribution.
The 1st team which left on 14th has
reached to Purniya on 16th September and started
working among the suffered peoples and established a base camp
for the efficient distribution of relief material being sent by
the generous donators of all part of Delhi.
Arya Samaj has a planed to rehabilitate 1000 families affected
form the flood and making the arrangement of shelter, food,
cloths, medicines & other life necessities to do a concrete
service of the nation.
Arya Veer Dal is ready with
its young guns to accomplish this rehabilitation successfully
and a team of 20 youngsters is ready to leave for Bihar soon
further relief materials gathers apart of 18 who are already on
the job.
Lets us fold our sleeves and do something to cope with the great
disaster on the Nation. |
