Candle Light March at Central Park,
CP…… Demonstration to “Save Yamuna”
Arya Veer Dal Delhi Pradesh Organized
a peaceful candle light march at Central Park, cannaught
palace on 10th August at 4 PM on the theme of
“Yamuna Ki Aazadi”
The motto of the program was to make
Delhites aware about the cleanness of Yamuna and take
initiatives to save it from Pollution, Illegal Encroachment
and growing construction at banks of Yamuna.
Some 100 Aryaveer participated in the
Candle Light March with the tricolor made on faces and
foreheads, candles and placards in hand. Aryaveers of
Sagarpur, C-3 Janakpri, Vikaspur, A1 Janakpur, Ranibagh &
Jahangir Puri sakhaas arrived at Aryasamaj Hanuman Road and
then went to gathered in the Central Park. Program was
started with National Anthem followed by the patriotic,
enthusiastic and social awareness songs. Then all the
Aryaveer distributed handbills to the visitors in the park
to urge them to save Yamuma by some of the solutions &
alternatives given in the bill. Then Aryaveer Started the
March with the lighting candles in hand and make a round of
Central Park and shouted the slogans to save Yamuma. After a
round all gathered at the front gate of the park and made a
Human Chain to appeal the passers by to take the initiatives
to save Yamuna.

Tak & CNN IBN was also presented to catch the show along
with Indian Express & other print media reporters.
